Guest guest Posted December 17, 2006 Report Share Posted December 17, 2006 Roasted Red Pepper Spread http://www.wildoats.com/u/recipedetail11354/?LinkName=Roasted+Red+Pepper+Spread & \ CMP=festiveappetizers Previously posted to SoFlaVeg/adapted Prep Time: 10 minutes, Cook Time: 5 minutes, Makes: About 2 1/2 cups 1 (16 oz.) can Garbanzo Beans, drained and rinsed 1/4 c. lemon juice, freshly squeezed 1 (6 oz.) jar roasted red peppers, drained 12 Tbsp. tahini 1 Tbsp. shallots, minced 1-2 cloves garlic, minced 1 Tbsp. organic basil, minced 1 tsp. paprika Dash white pepper Dash cayenne Dash sea salt 2 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1 to 2 boxes gluten free Crackers Combine all ingredients in food processor. Pulse until mixture smooth. If mixture is too thick, add a little warm water to thin it out.
