Guest guest Posted November 25, 2006 Report Share Posted November 25, 2006 (cross-posted) Today I noticed new packaging on Galaxy Foods rice cheese products. The slices are all now casein-free. Previously, they were just gluten-free and soy-free and lactose-free, but they are now entirely dairy/casein-free, as well. I don't know if they still melt (casein is a plasticizer, which is why many fake cheeses still contain it), but I thought I'd give y'all a heads-up. My husband prefers Lisanatti's almond cheese, which does contain casein, so he didn't buy the GalaxySoyco product today. ygg Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
