vegan promotion!

That is indeed cool! First it was Lisa Simpson; now it's a " real " character (as

opposed to an animated one), and one with considerable social prestige at that

(a doctor!).

Did anyone notice that one of the new characters on ER (one of the surgeons)

is a vegan. He brought tofurkey to the thanksgiving dinner and while the

spot lasted all of about 5 seconds, one of the other doctors asked him he

was really a vegan and he said " I believe a surgeon should NEVER eat meat. "

and followed that with something like " bad for the brain or clogs up the

brain " . I thought that was cool as long as they don't make him into a

mockery.
