Guest guest Posted October 9, 2006 Report Share Posted October 9, 2006 Homemade Vanilla Source: Ten Talents 2/3 cup water, warm 2 vanilla beans 1 Tbsp. raw sugar 1 Tbsp. liquid sweetener of choice 2 tsp. lecithin 2 tsp. oil Cut vanilla beans in small pieces. Whiz in blender with warm watr and raw sugar. Bring to a boil in a covered pan, but do not boil. Put into a clean jar and cap tightly. Let stand overnight. Strain into a blender. Mix lecithin with oil and liquid sweetener and slowly add this to the vanilla while blending on low speed. Pour into small 2 oz. bottles and cap tightly. Must be kept refrigerated.
