OMG> This is sooo neat!! I will have to make these with my kids over the

holidays! I quit buying those tostinos rolls long ago when I became conscious

over my health and the kids have been begging for them . Now I can give in! In

a healthy way!!

Pizza Rolls

 

 

Pizza Rolls

 

Servings: 20 rolls / Units per roll=1.5

 

Ingredients

1 pkg egg roll wrappers

2 C marinara sauce

1/3 C 2% LF mozzarella cheese

1 C chopped LF pizza toppings

 

Preheat oven to 350..Line cookie sheet with foil, spray lightly with

cooking spray.

Mix sauce, cheese and chopped veggies in bowl.

 

Take one wrapper, place 2 T sauce filling in middle, and roll in sides

and edges.

Place rolls on cookie sheet 1/2 inch apart.

 

For extra kick, spray finished rolls with cooking spray and sprinkle

Parm cheese, and Italian seasonings.

 

Bake for about 15 minutes or until light brown and crispy.

c. diced tomatoes

1/2 c. diced green peppers

1/2 c. fresh cilantro, chopped

1/2 c. fresh Italian parsley, chopped

1/2 c. diced celery

1/2 c. diced onions

1/2 c. scallions, chopped

4 cloves grated garlic

1 c. chopped black olives

2 tsp. oregano

3 - 4 Tbsp. olive oil

2 tsp. sea salt

Pitta dough*

 

1. Mix all ingredients together except Pitta dough. Take part of the pitta

dough and roll out into the shape of a large pizza.

 

2. Place 1 c. of the above mixture on the dough and then roll dough

inwards, folding the ends together.

 

3. Slice into small pieces and place in a baking dish or muffin tins and

bake at 375 degrees for 20 - 30 minutes, or until dough is golden brown.

 

*If gluten free, use gluten free bread or pizza dough of your choice.
