I do it about 4-5 days a week. When I do Master Cleanse, I tend to do yoga more than less, to enhance/hasten the elimination of toxins. I haven't experienced any negative effects. (Okay, my attitude toward Master Cleanse is always a beginner one... the minimum required plus as much as I want... that is what I originally understood from Stanley Burroughs' book Healing in the Age of Englightenment... as much as you want -- my first fast, I often went through 2 2-liter bottles of " lemonade " in a workday. Now I am a bit more conservative, and drink a lot more water, but I do tend to drink as much lemonade as I like... it works for me -- I am doing all of the required things on the Master Cleanse) I would not be worried about muscle loss if you are working out and doing the Master Cleanse up to 14 days (I think that is all the Burroughs spoke of.) hope this helps. Margaret But Joe's right that it's not true nobody does lose muscle on super long sedentary fasts. > > > > > Food fight?
