Guest guest
Hi Kristine, I do understand what you are seeking. Here are a couple of brief thoughts (well the expression may be brief, but the thoughts are eternal :) But only if you happen to share that belief. If you do not believe that your thoughts are eternal, then they expire in December, 2012 CE, when the Mayan calendar ends. Unless they expire either sooner or later. Okay, enough of this ... 1. Yes, eating very simply will bring about very rapid improvement. The problem occurs not during that week, but following. For if you make wonderful gains and then lose those gains, the effect can be very demoralizing. Believe me, I know from personal experience! I posted on the nature of vitality at some length just yesterday, post #32665. 2. It's not just about eating bananas for one week, it's an entire program, first the bananas, then gradually reintroducing other foods in an orderly manner. To my knowledge, those here who tried the bananas loved it ... and did not continue along the rest of that journey. I am happy to provide the information, if someone will actually use it. 3. The healthier you become, the stronger and more vital your system becomes. And over time, whenever you " backslide " or " fall off the wagon " or the like, you'll notice your system responding more and more vigorously. This is a sign of progress, and the detours are learning experiences along the way ... as long as you choose to perceive them in this way. I do understand that this needs to become a way of life for me, but until I get there, I am looking for the quickest way possible to find some balance and to end the suffereing that the candida has caused me. I guess I'm looking for someone to tell me that after doing the banana diet for a week they felt great and it was totally worth it. I am working towards being 100% raw and I just ordered Graham's book, but in the meantime I need to jumpstart my system. I am willing to eat only bananas for an entire week, but this is not something that I would do if I didn't know that it would have a profound effect on my health. Do you think this will kill off enough of the candida so that afterwards, if I fall off the 80-10-10 wagon, they won't be in such abundance that I'll immediately feel their effects. Thanks for your help... Kristine
