Guest guest
Ok. I was reading on a website promoting the 80-10-10 diet. The woman that the website belongs too was giving her testimony. In it she said that she was having her periods about every 6 months, they were very light but she was still fertile. She new she was fertile because the spike in her temp. She seemed to believe this was a good thing, but I was thinking this was not normal. Then it came to me that maybe the 80-10-10 folks believe it is not normal or necessary for women to have a period every 28 days. Of course I have known lots of women with unpredictable cycles that eat a SAD diet. They go months sometimes without a period. I have no idea if they are fertile anyway though. But I don't think the doctors are alarmed by the inconsistency of their cycles. It also reminded me of a conversation with some young women (in their 20's) and they were telling me about a new pill that was out that when taken would only allow one period a year. So perhaps the medical field now believes that 28 day cycles are not necassary? What's the deal on this? Belinda
