Guest guest
I remember having a similar, eye-opening experience years ago. I was at a regular grocery store and looked at the carts full of Doritos, soda, fruit roll-ups, etc. I thought, Just because we CALL this FOOD doesn't mean it IS! Guest guest
- Laurie Swanson >That's really interesting, Caron. This topic has come up before on other raw boards and no one has ever mentioned the possibility of an adoptive mother lactating. How great. I can see that you will have a lot to contribute when you're ready (of course, you already do contribute, as well)! I was amazed myself, when I read about adoptive lactation on the ABA website: http://www.breastfeeding.asn.au/bfinfo/adoption.html It's wonderful to know that it can be done though. As far as contributing, I hope I do. I like to be able to meet a need when I see one, particularly when that need is for information. A lot of people make the choices they make because that's all the information they have. I think a lot of problems could be solved if more people knew where to find the right information.
