Hi Anna,

 

I presume your comments arise from your awareness of the " Glycemic Index " .

This early attempt at understanding sugar absorption is extremely misleading

because it does not figure in the actual amount of sugar involved. I suggest

that you learn about Glycemic Load, which does figure in volume. Then you

may be startled to learn that virtually all the fruits are at the bottom ...

the least reactive. It's quite a different picture ... and far more accurate

in physiological terms.

as a former reactive hypoglycemic....(who discovered it really is all about

the FAT,

NOT the sugar..)....

 

i noticed that you lumped watermelon in with cherries as high sugar fruits,

this isnt

true,,cherries are very low-glycemic..one of the lowest..and watermelon one

of the

highest....cherries and berries....very low reactive response...
