Guest guest
I see, Erin, so let me get this straight. 1. Apparently you believe you have read what I have written. (Your eyes apparently scanned the screen, in any event.) 2. Therefore, you are aware that I've said that the bitter greens contain alkaloids. (You just accidentally neglected mentioning this in your post, below.) 3. Because you have an extensive background in chemistry , you are undoubtedly aware that alkaloids are toxic to humans. However, you dismiss this as nonevidence, for reasons unknown ... possible to you! 4. As my weak and oft-failing memory seems to recall, you have stated/agreed at times that we should all listen to our bodies' messages. 5. Our sensory response (arising from our body) is not evidence. (Presumably, not a valid message) 6. You offer no evidence of anything at all. 7. Therefore we should all follow your advice ... though we may not be clear as to just what that advice is. Bravo! Next up: Symbolic Logic! Elchanan. _____ rawfood [rawfood ] On Behalf Of Erin Wednesday, July 04, 2007 10:09 PM rawfood [Raw Food] list, was: Re: watercress Haven't you been keeping up with what I'm writing? I've already said I read everything that's put in front of my face, and that includes Elchanan's stuff. He has offered up that some of these are stimulants or may taste adverse to some people (apparently not you, if you are mourning their loss from your diet), that they would not be our first choice in the wild, that we try some first thing upon waking on an empty stomach, etc.. None of these are really evidence, just interesting interpretations and hearsay. And nothing has been said of watercress except that Victoria says it is poisonous. Come on, let's require more than that before we go dropping yet another healthy food from our diets! Or not. <shrug> -Erin
