Guest guest
Haven't you been keeping up with what I'm writing? I've already said I read everything that's put in front of my face, and that includes Elchanan's stuff. He has offered up that some of these are stimulants or may taste adverse to some people (apparently not you, if you are mourning their loss from your diet), that they would not be our first choice in the wild, that we try some first thing upon waking on an empty stomach, etc.. None of these are really evidence, just interesting interpretations and hearsay. And nothing has been said of watercress except that Victoria says it is poisonous. Come on, let's require more than that before we go dropping yet another healthy food from our diets! Or not. <shrug> -Erin http://www.zenpawn.com/vegblog rawfood , jeannieh h <jeannieh99 wrote: > > Erin, > > Who's jesting? Not me. > > Haven't you been keeping up with Elchanan's posts?? If you have you would see that he is giving evidence that those things are bad for us. You might want to go back and read his posts that suggest this. > > > Jeannie > > > your time is the most cherished gift of all, tomorrow is promised to no one. > > > > > Erin <truepatriot > rawfood > Wednesday, July 4, 2007 3:08:08 AM > [Raw Food] list, was: Re: watercress > > > Jeannieh, I hope you write this in jest. > > I don't see that convincing evidence has > been given to avoid any of these yet. > > > -Erin > http://www.zenpawn.com/vegblog > > > rawfood , jeannieh h <jeannieh99@> wrote: > > > > Man o man!!! > > It looks like the list gets longer of what I used to think > was " healthy " . > > > > For a lifetime I was told or read or heard that these things were > healthy, now I find out they are toxic, or just plain not good for > you. Alot of that stuff I say in jest actually, it is unfortunate that it doesn't come across that way in print. However, I have cut back, but I have not eliminated them. I am open to everyone's ideas until I am convinced 100%. You also wrote: " He has offered up that some of these are stimulants or may taste adverse to some people (apparently not you,...... " Apparently not many other people either............. I must have missed the part where he said they were stimulants....I thought he said they were toxic. ;-) Jeannie Jeannie your time is the most cherished gift of all, tomorrow is promised to no one.
