Maybe, but I think it has more to do with the fact that it would be

impractical to feed an army veggies only. Because you must eat to

often.

Meat is about the only food you can eat and it stay with you for many

hours at a time.

Eat a big breakfast of eggs, bisquits, gravey, fried potatoes, and a

big piece of meat. You won't need to eat again for many, many hours.

(if i ate this now, I would be nauseous.)

Meat is a source of food that the body can get by on for hours and

ideal for those that might be in situations where they don't get the

opportunity to eat often. If dried, you don't even have to have a

cooler to take it with you.

In other words, soldiers can't be grazing and pottying all day.

Well they sure would not be very functional as soldiers. That's for

sure.

But my point was the reasoning as to why the soldiers are fed meat.

You believe it is to make them mean and aggressive.

I believe it is to sustain them.

And until the whole world lives as meek, mild and loving vegetarians,

we need some aggressive solders.

Belinda,

I appreciate your right to believe anything you wish to believe. OTOH, if

you were to read the writings of generals through the ages, then ....
