Personality, Agressiveness, and Diet was...Killing is killing

Hi Belinda,

You'll see this mentioned from time to time in writings about Natural

Hygiene. Not long ago, I began to see the truth in it. Even though

there are " docile " people who eat meat, they are still consuming death

and causing death within their bodies, and subsequently promoting more

death. They are not living optimally, nor close to their potential

for vitality while they continue to assault the body with dead flesh.

It isn't just meat, but other libations such as alcohol, nicotine,

drugs, etc. All of these things have a negative cause/effect

relationship with the body. Aggressiveness is a continuum that can

have subtle effects such as grouchiness, to the violent behavior we

see across the nation in our public schools (Columbine).

My dh and I have had significantly less heated arguments since we

changed our diet over a year ago.

Here's a little excerpt from Ross Horne's " Health Revolution " that

explains it a bit:

" Personality and diet are not unrelated.

A hyperactive child would, no doubt, be classified as a type A

personality although the hyperactive behavior was caused by dietary

factors.

Whether by comfort deriving from their religious beliefs or perhaps

from their vegetarian diet, the Seventh Day Adventists at the Sydney

Adventist Hospital seem all to be good-natured and friendly. Strangers

passing in the corridors smile and say hello.

Other people say they feel less aggressive and more placid since

becoming vegetarians.

It is possible that some " A Type " people on high meat, fat and

sugar diets are basically placid folk whose type A behavior as well as

their circulatory problems, are caused by the food they eat.

Other factors aside, there is no doubt that moderating a frantic

lifestyle has benefited many people and extended their lifespan. "

I disagree with the theory that eating meat makes one aggressive of

violent and eating veggies only makes one non-aggressive, non violent.

I think it is in their nature to be what they are.

I just think that aggressive people just tend to be meat eaters.

And veggie only eaters just tend to be more docile. I don't think you

could take a docile vegitarian and inlude meat in their diet and

change their personality into a violent or an aggressive one.

(lol, unless they thought it was the way to get their veggies back)

And I don't think you can take a meat eater, and feed him/her veggies

and make them docile.

I know many, many, many, people that eat meat that are as kind, docile

and gentle as they come.

I believe it has more to do with their spirit than their diet.

Belinda and how profound is that?

i commented on the parapsychology list im on, a few days ago, that

meat eaters tend to be more violent and aggressive....and i got flamed

by a meat eater....it was so very funny...the veggies just disagreed

with me calmly....they missed the episode completely....i guess cuz

they kno the guy..

but i did laugh....

Yes, in fact, the US alone is engaged in more wars than that,
