Hi everybody,

Let's see...I guess, I should first introduce myself, My name is

Stephanie...I am 38...I ate raw for over a year 3 years ago and felt

vibrant, fit, more spiritually aware and full of boundless

energy...almost too much energy.

Then I became pregnant....and stayed mainly raw the first 6 months,

until I started craving cheese(at least I ate my neighbours raw goat

cheese, but still it was cheese..actually I just craved fat and I gave

in...). I have been planning on going back to eating this way for 2

years now..but, I have also been chasing/nursing a toddler, and

raising/homeschooling my 11 and 17 year old. Now, I just took a good

look in the mirror and I think I have aged about 10 years in the past

year( I always looked super young before) and I am about 20 pounds

overweight. I don't feel that bad, yet, except for a rather depressing

sort of stagnation feeling....but, I certainly don't have the energy

that I had before. I really want to make this lifestyle change for good

this time. I know *how* to do it...I just need to get my mind

unbrainwashed again.

My husband and children are really easygoing. My teenage daughter ate

raw the entire time I did and actually beyond that. My husband has been

vegan for years and really wants to become all raw himself, except he

likes *gourmet* raw food and I never developed a taste for the richness

of that.

Is there anybody out there who would like to correspond and sort-of be a

cheering/support team with. I know from my own experience that if I can

just do it for about 6 weeks, it will then seem strange to eat bread

again. I am so looking forward to the clarity again.

peace,

stephanie

Hi Stephanie,

I have a similar story. I ate raw for awhile, gave in to temptation and then

realized that raw was the only way to feel great and be healthy.

I just started keeping a blog and try to post fairly easy recipes on it to help

others and would be glad to cheer you on.
