Guest guest
Yall, I'm new to raw foods and this group. Am confused what books to get, classes or whatever, so if yall have any suggestions, I'm open, for recommendations on good general cookbooks and books on " how to " I'm in TX. My sister in SC turned me onto a restaurant there making the most awesome raw corn tortilla chips. Any recipe suggestions on making those?? They also made great dipping chips out of flax seeds. Also the cafe making these chips said they made alot of what they sell with a dehydrator. This is a whole new world to me, what kind of dehydrating machinery do yall recommend, who've been on raw foods for more than a year or two?? Like most chunky Americans, I need to lose 40-50 lbs., am a busy RN, which, I can say this because I am one--Ever notice how many fat nurses there are?? We're all confused about what to eat, what " experts " to listen to... So rather than waste a lot of $$ buying books & equipment, I'd like to know what yall raw foods veterans tell us kids new to this genre, how to get started. Is there some archive or FAQ with this for newbies like me?
