I get so confused with all this. I guess my mind and reception abilities are

impaired by all the sad I've eaten over the years. lol

I think I need a chart that spells out what is ok to combine and what is not ok

to combine. I am known to throw everything into a salad. Without regard to what

goes with what.

It is challenging enough for me to be venturing into this life of raw, without

having to be bogged down with " this goes with this...that doesn't go with that " .

What kind of harm comes from not combining properly?

Great question. Answer: no, it simply depends on what is used. For example,

a favorite treat for kids and adults) is to take a banana and place it on a

large lettuce leaf, then blend up one or two dates with water and use as a

thick sauce. Roll it up and you have a ... well, whatever you wish to call

it.

In general, melons are best eaten alone. But the other fruits ... sweet,

subacid, acid, and " veggie fruits " all go well with greens. What does NOT go

well is mixing sweet with acid fruits, greens or not. Equally, what does not

go well is mixing sweet fruits with fatty items, such as avocado, nuts,

seeds.

Hope that's more clear. We're planning a food combining teleconference

sometime later this year, for those interested.

Best,

Elchanan

Wouldn't fruit on a salad be really really poor food combining?
