[IdRaw Food] Salt again, I suppose

Elchanan,

 

I don't get this........because.....as you know, asian people use alot of soy

sauce that has alot of salt in it. They use salt in many dishes..

 

What gives?

You are closer to truth than you may realize. During the Vietnam war,

whenever bodies of American and Vietnamese soldiers were gathered in one

place, it was noted that the bodies of the Vietnamese soldiers decayed

considerably more rapidly than did the bodies of the Americans. And that was

during the 60s/early 70s. We've " come a long way " since then.

Oh, sorry, you said " pickled " , I didn't mean to connect it to the salt per

se. The pickling was and is in all the preservatives being eaten, as well as

the antibiotics.
