Hi Anna,

What you share here is the product (or byproduct :):) of much " education " .

The symptoms are never the problem, and our systems never throw at us more

than we " can " handle. Otherwise, Nature's design would fail.

The cause is always the cause, the symptom always the symptom. Confusing the

latter for the former is called the " medical model " . Practitioners cannot

" heal " or " cure " anything at all. They can ONLY treat symptoms. In order to

make a living, they have ALWAYS had to shift the focus of their " patients "

away from the problem and toward the symptom(s). And since most people

possess little knowledge and less patience, this has been easy to do, over

the eons of the history we call " civilization " .

Usually, it's the parent who cannot tolerate watching the child's

discomfort. The parent then says that this is " too much for the child to

tolerate " . This is a destructive self-deception.

So where does this lead? One direction is very simple indeed: toward rest.

The body carries out all deep cleansing and restoration activities (those

that clean up from the past) during a state of relative rest. Create some

degree of rest, and some degree of cleansing and restoration ... and

therefore symptoms ... will ALWAYS occur.

Fasting provides a very deep state of systemic rest ... particularly if one

fasts in all areas and not just in diet. Therefore, during fasting the body

has the resources to cleanse and restore itself at a very accelerated rate.

It's actually that simple ... always has been. :):)

And underneath this is a deeper idea, that we get out of the way, rather

than attempting to intervene and " treat " our symptoms. You conscious mind

cannot heal a simple cut nor cure the " common cold " . What makes you think

your conscious mind can solve something complicated?

I've offered much more on this idea of relative rest, in posts, in our

teleconferences, etc.

Best,

Elchanan

i agree that symptoms are the bodies reaction to an assault. This true. But

they often become the disease to us.

however some are very uncomfortable and painful...for a child..they can be

too much to tolerate.

im fascinated by the water fast idea....i really want to hear how that

works...

i believe you.

i am as much a product of the western myopia as anyone...

i just realize it. Which id like to think at least opens me up to new

ideas...this alone makes me more tolerant of other methods and

eventually able to learn new paradigms...

absolute pure health isjust as foreign to me as anyone here in the

US.....but i have been pursuing it for decades...so i have volumes of

information in my pointy little head....im just trying to sift thru it

all and put it into a new model....

i wont reject all ive learned...that wud be foolish...but im happy to

learn new ways...

i appreciate you and your knowledge very much...

thanks
