Guest guest
I believe it was Anna asking about migraines. I have had them my entire life. It runs in the family. Many triggers: caffeine withdrawal, prolonged computer use, and, as has been mentioned, the weekend stress release. When I got an MRI maybe a year and a half back (when I was suffering a mild headache for months), I described it as a psychedelic massage table. It makes all sorts of crazy noises while it vibrates. This sucker was out in a truck at the back of the hospital. Ultimately, my issues seemed to be due to anemia. I supplemented with a liquid iron for a while and B12. Once it resolved, I stopped taking them. So, that wasn't really a migraine. As for migraine management, I've been a long-time user of feverfew. It reduces the frequency and severity (when you do inevitably get them). Depending on your level and/or approach to raw foodism, this may or may not be an option for you, but I wanted to throw it out there. A good deal of science behind its efficacy and safety. Has raw food helped me with my migraines? Perhaps. Hope this helps, -Erin http://www.zenpawn.com/vegblog/vegan-done-light.html
