Guest guest
Hi all, Lurker here posting for the first time. Nice to be here! Got a question about the banana mono-diet that some of you are undertaking right now. This may have been answered in previous posts but I wanted to clarify for myself. I've heard from numerous raw sources that bananas are, indeed, constipating. But, I do remember reading (I believe it was here) that bananas are 70% water and, as such, are moist and don't constipate. <head spinning> I would like to start a mono-diet but don't want to make my constipation problem worse. For a few reasons (not the least of which are cost and taste) I'd like to use bananas as opposed to watermelon or other fruit. Any thoughts as to whether bananas would be a mistake for me. Appreciate any and all replies! Renee ______________________________\ ____ Now that's room service! Guest guest
I had problems with constipation but I have had non since starting the banana diet. I think someone said if they were really ripe the less likely they would be constipating. If you keep drinking your water while doing this you should have no problem. >fkayman <fkayman >rawfood >rawfood >[Raw Food] bananas >Tue, 22 May 2007 07:42:57 -0700 (PDT) > >Hi all, > >Lurker here posting for the first time.
