Guest guest
Hello All, I am trying so hard to get into the 100%- I am hoping someone out there has a few of the " starter necessities " for me. Specifically a good bread recipe and a good cracker recipe. I realize that eventually these sort of things somewhat phase out- but at present I need them and I am having a hard time finding a recipe that tastes anything but horrible. I spend time sprouting and making a recipe and it turns out TERRIBLE- then I am ticked off that I wasted my time and money on it and then I feel like I am back at square one. Help??? One other thing- if there are any out there that don't have Flax. They all seem to have flax (as a binder I am told.) My body has a bad reaction to estrogen- therefore I have been told to stay away from soy and flax. Does anyone know anything about flax and its phytoestrogen properties? Thank you all so much- total jumble of thoughts and questions. This seemed so easy at first and now it seems like it isn't working. Guest guest
Here's a great bread recipe: http://goneraw.com/recipes/show/2 Its an onion bread, and fabulous (the only bread I like) As far as Crackers go, I prefer one that uses ground flax mixed with a lot of veggies, Just dry-grind flax in coffee grinder, than mix with finely chopped (or blended) veggies (whatever your favorite is, I like peppers, but I mix it) and some seasoning (nama shoyu, sea salt, herbs) a dash of oil. Spread on teflex sheets 1/4 in thick and dehydrate. When they are dry enough, I take them off the teflex and onto a screen and dry till crispy and dry.. ~kristi On May 17, 2007, at 11:47 PM, Carly Streiff wrote: > pecifically a > good bread recipe
