Guest guest
Greetings Dobby, Debbie, and all, The fastest way to add body weight is to drink and/or to eat. Similarly, the fastest ways to release body weight are to poop and to pee. For most of us, our body weight does indeed fluctuate somewhat throughout the day in response to these " factors " . Overnight, you are correct Debbie, your system is indeed burning fuel, carrying out various metabolic activities, evaporating off water, etc. Therefore, it is quite natural to release a bit of body weight while sleeping. All these things having been said, the range (amplitude) of these ups and downs tends to diminish considerably as we become healthier and cleaner. Why? We require somewhat less fuel and therefore eat a bit less, we metabolize more efficiently, we product waste byproducts more efficiently, etc. Best to all, Elchanan _____ rawfood [rawfood ] On Behalf Of deborah164951 Tuesday, May 15, 2007 6:24 AM rawfood [Raw Food] Re: weight question....off the wall really... Hi It's not just you! I love this forum - it's the kind where people ask questions that you always wanted to know the answer to! My weight has usually been 1-2 lbs less in the morning, and that's before going to the loo! Having given this a bit of thought...we're actually having a long period without food, perhaps nothing for 12 hours? And, while we're asleep, we're still burning calories (just normal body function, tossing and turning, perhaps sweating, 'other activities'...) How about that for a hypothesis? I look forward to the contributions of those more qualified.
