Guest guest
Hi Joysain, I'd like to offer another interpretation regarding what you share here. Your approach is actually making the TOTAL transition much longer, harder, and less likely ever to be completed. Our bodies do not react differently to this diet. Rather, our bodies have different cleansing requirements, based upon whatever we have done in the past. What we experience is not primarily caused by the diet. Quite the contrary, it is what we REMOVE from our diet that unleashes the cleansing and restorative resources of our system. What you are really saying is that is you choose to remove fewer harmful substances from your diet, you feel more comfortable. I mean no judgment, I do not say such a choice is " right " or " wrong " in any sense. I mean only to clarify what you are actually choosing. For you are choosing to toxify your system, only at a slower rate than in the past. Also, if you are experiencing " massive mood swings ... violent tendencies and moments of complete irrationality " , then I suggest that nondietary aspects of your health may benefit from some serious attention. Also, you describe nothing about your larger lifestyle with respect to items such as rest, activity, work, financial health, and so forth. By focusing so heavily upon diet, you run the risk of misdirecting your perceptions (biasing or skewing your own awareness) and therefore your choices, and ultimately you run the risk of never achieving the health you seek. Just a perspective. Hi I agree completly. I started out at 100% raw and was sick within 2 weeks. There was too much toxin in my body for me to cope with this and continue to be civil to my family. So I cut back to 50% raw, 50% veg. and am working my way back. For me detox was and still even at this level is harsh. I am literally allergic to my own sweat because of the toxin's that are being released. I have had massive moodswings, and violent tendences and moments of complete irrationality. Muscle spasms, abdominal cramps, and swolen lymph nodes. None of which the doc. could explain until I told her of my diet change. She checked me out on what I am eating and approved of my choices pointing out that I need to eat enough iron...lol. The point is each of our bodies will react diffrently to this diet and each of us must make this life change for ourselves and our bodies. We are unique and can not mass market what is good for the individual. That is part of the whole point.
