Watermelon ... about eating the seeds

I neglected to address whether to eat the seeds in a seeded watermelon. From

one of the PathOfHealth participants, in response to my observations about

how dogs eat watermelon:

 

.....our dog manages to leave the seeds behind. We've given him a number of

pieces thrown into his dish and he gobbles it up, but when done, the seeds

are there.
