Watermelon: rind, or no rind? (WAS: Dehydration symptoms)

Yes, I once watched a dog eat a nice-sized piece of watermelon. The dog ate

all the red and well into the white, but none of the outer rind/skin. The

white is filled with minerals, a bit more bitter-tasting due to the mineral

mix, nonetheless " good stuff " for us humans.

Now that's interesting. I don't mind a lot of the white part of the

watermelon. I don't like the green part of it though. I like melon's most of

all! I'm glad it's getting to that time of year
