For me, there is also the calorie restriction aspect on top of raw. As you've read, it's not necessarily a negative, but it can be a QoL (quality of life) issue. Just think though (and I've found this to be true), this summer, while everyone else is griping about the heat and sweating like crazy (and worst of all, blasting their AC), you'll be comfy cozy.
