4. Labeling Pasteurized Almonds as Raw - means lying by law?!

When you buy " raw " eggs would you accept that they are already pre-cooked?

 

The FDA want the Almond growers to pasteurize the almonds.

THE Nut of all nuts! Just because of some unproven salmonella incidents??

 

ARE THEY NUTS?????

 

The worst part is that they want to label pasteurized almonds as RAW!

How far can the FDA go to lie?

 

We need our freedom to choose if we want to buy raw or pasteurized almonds!!!!

For the consumers who are afraid to by anything unpasteurized, well, that's

their choice.

They can't force their choice on anybody else!

 

It is the same as if one buys raw eggs, but when open the package the eggs are

already pre-cooked. Same with meat and fish.

How many people got sick in the past from salmonella in eggs, meat and fish

compare to almonds?????

Almonds supposed to be pasteurized but eggs can be bought raw?

Questions from Ursula:

Isn't it obvious that there must be something else behind this whole scenario?

But what? Even the FDA can't be so stupid to make such a decision!

So what is the real story behind all this?

Is there a push from a certain industry for doing this?

Could it be the soy industry?

Could it be the meat and dairy industry?

Do customers finally figure out how valuable almonds are and buy less

soy, meat and dairy products?

Did the sales of soy, meat and dairy products go down?

 

In my opinion, in no way a danger for salmonella could have caused these

scenario. That seems to me an obvious excuse. So who and what is behind it?

Money? (it can be the only reason!)

 

Just for some money hungry industries and political power games our freedom

should be taken away to buy real raw products?

 

Something to think about!
