Fell off the wagon!!

Help! I fell of the wagon and ate a load of cooked food including chicken!

My body feels so toxic and I almost puked while eating the chicken!!!

 

 

 

What can I do to detox?! I feel disgusting!!!

It's okay, Michelle! You'll get through today and tomorrow in healing mode and

then it'll be

out of your system. Don't worry.

 

Call in sick to whatever you have to do (including family duties) take a deep

breath, run

yourself a nice bath, light a scented candle, and just listen to music all day,

or watch

happy movies, or take a barefoot walk outside, but whatever you do, DON'T EAT!

Just

drink lots and lots of water and rest. If you've been eating raw for a while,

your body

knows how to get rid of the offenders. It just needs to be given time and space

to do its

thing with no interruptions. Avoid all possible stressors, focus on making

yourself happy

and relaxed in a non-food-related way. Just drink pure water for the rest of

today, starting

immediately, warm or cold. Tomorrow morning, stir in a teaspoon of sea salt into

warm

(not hot) water and drink that--it should help stimulate a bowel movement. Then

continue

resting and making yourself happy and drinking water. If you feel better and

hungry by

tomorrow evening, feed yourself the juice of a grapefruit or an orange or some

grapes,

nothing else. Some people would recommend wheatgrass or other juiced greens for

detoxifying but if you ate a lot of cooked food, espcially meat, and you think

it was really

quite toxic (not just steamed veggies but processed, mixed, unorganic, etc.) the

greens

could stimulate too quick a detoxification, which might be very unpleasant for

you. Your

choice. I would prefer to go the lighter, gentler way.

Thank you Storm I will do this immediately! Funny how quickly the body gets

used to having a clean system. Just an hour after I ate this stuff (and it

was a lot of bread and margarine and chicken, etc) I was feeling absolutely

polluted and horrible!
