I'm very happy to see this is a warm and accepting group with lots of helpful responses. I've been off and on raw for about a year. I love trying new raw recipes! I pack raw for lunch almost everyday, but eating at home - living with 2 bread lovers! - is a little harder. My husband and I have been vegan for almost 20 years and my 11yo daughter has been vegan her whole life. I'm glad I found this group! I've been trying to use raw agave nectar in some recipes and on my raw granola but I found it made me nauseous! I was quite surprised and disappointed by this - anyone else experience a bad relationship with agave? Oh and I also have an ongoing struggle with caffeine addiction. If anyone has any tips for handling the psychological addiction of needing a warm cuppa in the morning please pass it on! My favorite smoothie of late is a lovingly sectioned grapefruit whirled in my vitamix with several handfuls of fresh pineapple chunks. I sip on it all morning to keep munchies at bay til lunch.
