Hi everyone!

I'm rather new to sprouting, and I'm very excited at how easy it is to grow my

own bean sprouts. But I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas or recipes for

using sprouts, other than throwing them on salads? I have a big batch of lentil

sprouts right now that I'd like to eat up soon!

Thanks!

Judy

Oh.... sprouted lentils! Yummy!

* You can eat them by the handful as is.

* You can sprinkle herbs/spices on them and eat them by the handful.

* You can sprinkle herbs/spices on them and dehydrate them and eat

them by the handful or sprinkle them on a salad or any other

food concoction (I sprinkled dehydrated spiced lentils on my

marinated collards tonight! What a treat!)

* You can grind them up in a food processor and make pates with them,

by adding spices/herbs. (you could dehydrate the pates in blobs to

make burgers, too)

* You can grind them up and add some ground flaxseed and spices/herbs,

and dehydrate them to make crackers.

Do you need more?

I love sprouting lentils because they will sit in the refrigerator for

up to a month waiting for you to come and scarf them up.

I usually sprout mine to about 1/2 to 1 inch.

I carry around a baggy for if I get hungry and I know I'm not.
