Life - too short to be grouchy and radical

I am trying to find the right balance of foods in my diet. I do not

believe in cutting most foods out entirely. (Chemicals YES, deleted) I

mean I try for a whole food and now mostly raw food diet. But, I

think we set ourselves up for failure (I KNOW I do) when we say all or

nothing! I am going to only eat this or that and none of that. It

gets boring and life is complicated enough without being so radical in

our diets. I truly do believe that the stress we impose on our minds

when we say we " fell of the raw wagon " or " went back to dead food " is

self destructive and may do more harm then we know. Many of us have

felt the stress we place on ourselves and I just think we should be a

little more easy on ourselves. I do not think this is the wrong place

to say this. We are about healing and putting more good food

(uncooked) in our bodies. But we should also consider how we are

thinking. Positive thoughts and humor are important.

I believe we should love ourselves and treat ourselves well, whatever

that means. Allowing for treats ON OCCASSION seems fine. Creating

healthy fresh meals that are appealing to all the senses is fun and

healthy.

As for that delightfully inappropriate Pizza recipe, c'est la vie. I

was having a bad day and to be honest, I laughed my behind off. It

still makes me smile.

Healthy habits and thoughts to us all....

Jennifer
