Guest guest
EASY AND DELICIOUS HERB BUTTER Herb butters are so easy to make - why not keep a few in the refrigerator or freezer for everyday use. One herb may be used or two for an unbeatable flavor combination. You can save an herb blossom or leaf to place on top of the butter when it is finished as a reminder of which herb has been used. The following herbs are some of the best for the most flavorful butters: chives, marjoram, oregano, thyme, basil, rosemary, dill, parsley, tarragon, garlic chives and even mint! The deep purple opal basil turns butter a pinkish color that's quite pretty! 3 tblsps. minced fresh herbs or 1 1/2 tblsps. dried herbs 1/2 cup butter or margarine, at room temperature Add the herbs to the soft butter in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Spoon into a small ramekin, and place an herb leaf or flower on top for decoration. Store, cov- ered in refrigerator for 2 weeks or freezer for up to 2 months.
