It was very nice. We had fresh scones for breakfast

while we opened presents, then my husband and I cooked

the big afternoon feast. It was a lot of fun. Very quiet

pleasant day.

my hubby gave me his cold for xmas, so i wasn't feeling well. despite

that, it was a good day. i went ahead with my indian dinner, but

because i was weak and tired, it took 5 hours to prepare. it was worth

it though and there is plenty to freeze for busy weekdays. i made

samosas, a cilantro chutney, a vegetable vindaloo, basmati rice, and

store-bought naan bread. i'll post recipes.
