Hello Mary. There are many wonderful appetizer

recipes in our files. Most of the vegan recipes are

labeled as such, and other that are not vegan can

be easily converted to vegan by using some

replacement ingredients for the cream cheese,

sour cream and cheese. Take a browse through that

section, and see what sounds good to you.

If you need vegan conversion ideas, just ask us here

and someone will give you advice about that

particular recipe.

Next, open up the folder titled: Appetizers

There are a few subfolders titled:

1. Dips and Spreads : flavored dips and spreads, salsas,

hummus, cheese molds, quesos, quacamoles

2. Finger Foods: bites, crackers, deviled eggs, pickles,

poppers, snacks, snack mixes, stuffed veggies

Have fun! :)

LOL! I am excited to hear what you will choose

to try making for your nephew.

How old is he? I sure hope you have fun making

him feel welcome and treating everyone to a nice

vegan spread.

I have tried some of the toffuti sour cream and

cream cheese stuff before and you know, they

work great in dip recipes! There must be several

good vegan brands of crackers and chips out

there on the market.

Does anyone have favorites they can suggest?

He's 18 and his girlfriend talked him into it. He says he already

feels better. The files are full of good recipes. There are so

many I don't know what to start with.
