I love Quorn products and wish they would sell ALL of the different variety of items in the stores here in the USA. I have no problem eating them and the thought of it being fungus does not put me off in the slightest. I think it is rather wonderful that a veg food so full of protein is being grown and made from a fungus source. Of course I love mushrooms; all except shiitake mushrooms, that are a bit too strong and rubbery for my palate. I like the flavor they impart to dishes, but I always pick them out and push them to the side of the plate. ~ PT ~
