HB Japanese Tofu Salad 1 block silk tofu 2 tomatoes 1 clove garlic 3 tbsps soy sauce 1 tbsp mirin (cooking sake or use sherry) 1 tbsp sesame oil 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar garnish with chopped green onions Slice garlic and saute them. Cut tomatoes into rounds. Cut tofu into bite-sized pieces. Place tofu and tomatoes in a plate. Sprinkle sauteed garlic over the salad. Mix soy sauce, vinegar, mirin, and sesame oil to make dressing.
