Guest guest
I was thinking about asparagus too....we get a lot of it in the spring...not so much in the summer, and I miss it. When I do get fresh asparagus, my favorite way to cook it is by sauteing in a frying pan with extra virgin olive oil and chopped fresh garlic. When the spears are nicely carmelized, I add a splash of water and continue cooking until all the water is evaporated. You can cover for a bit to steam first, the uncover to evaporate the water. This recipe works well with fresh green beans too. Enjoy! Ellen , " Recipe2695 " <recipes2695 wrote: > Have some fresh asparagus that I am trying to figure out what to do with it.
