Guest guest Posted May 25, 2008 Report Share Posted May 25, 2008 STRAWBERRY & RHUBARB JAM 4 c strawberries 1 t grated lemon rind 4 c rhubarb 1 T lemon juice 6 c sugar pinch baking soda crush berries lightly, cut rhubarb in 1/2 inch pieces. measure & put in sauce pan. heat sugar and add to cold fruit. cover with cloth and let rest 12 hours. bring to a boil over high heat. add lemon and soda, boil until thick and syrupy. pour into hot sterile jars. cool slightly and seal.
