Hi!

I'm April from Garland, Texas (near Dallas)

Favorite foods: Avocados, tomatoes, cherries and chocolate

 

I grew up in Michigan and loved the fresh sweet corn we'd

buy direct from the farmers Sweet corn in Texas has

been shipped in and has lost much of its flavor. I'm dreaming

of the roadside stands full of fresh produce that I visited as a

youngster. Hard to find those still warm from the field foods

now-a-days, bursting with all the goodness the sun has to offer.

 

For breakfast this morning: Rye toast with cherry jam and a

big cup of tea!
