I am not able to figure out what region that is, Jim. Are those GPS cooridates? If so, how does one decipher them? Did you ever see the movie K-PAX? Your fruit eating reminded me of that film. Guest guest
Thanks for the reminder, PT - I loved K-PAX - I'm going to look out that DVD and watch it again tonight. Your sig line got me thinking .... Did you celebrate Beltane? It is a big thing here in Edinburgh. Unfortunately I missed out on it this year - I'm getting too old to be gallivanting up Carlton Hill on an April evening, LOL. Here is a link you may find interesting. http://www.beltane.org/ Christie , " ~ PT ~ " <patchouli_troll wrote: > > I am not able to figure out what region > that is, Jim. Guest guest
Hi PT, Sorry to jump in on your question to Jim, but since I regularly read maps and use GPS/GIS as part of my job, I couldn't resist. Yes, those are latitude and longitude coordinates. I just *had* to look up the coordinates in a GIS mapping program that I use at work and I now know where Jim lives. I can tell you that he is much MUCH farther south than I am and has access to much fresher vegetarian food than I do (to keep it on topic *lol*). For comparison, I live at the 54th parallel (54* N latitude) and the Canada-US border is the 49th parallel. I'll let Jim sort you out on how to " find " him, if you are unable to find a search engine that will do the work for you. Cheers Kathleen --- PT wrote: > > , " Cuthbert J. Guest guest
Oh YES I love K-PAX, too. I have that movie that I found for hardly nothing at a flea market! christie_0131 <christie0131 wrote: Thanks for the reminder, PT - I loved K-PAX - I'm going to look out that DVD and watch it again tonight. Guest guest
Those coordinates are the longitude/latitude of El Cajon, California. No, I never seen that movie but I shall watch for it. , " ~ PT ~ " <patchouli_troll wrote: > > , " Cuthbert J.
