Guest guest
Wow! So sorry you got hit with an infection. These Spring colds and flus are just tough this year. I hope you are feeling better soon. ~ PT ~ Only he crosses the stream of life who wishes to know what is known as unknowable. ~ Buddha ~~~*~~*~~~*~~*~~~> , Reni <renireligion wrote: > > sadly the plague has become a full-on sinus infection. so i pretty much > can't taste anything (and what with all the disgustingness) often can't keep > much down either. i've been drinking lots of fluids, including vegetable > broths and juices. i've also been able to do rice and vegetables which is > good. > > i want to thank everyone for the recipes. my son has had the best time > testing them all out and insists that they're all " uh-licious " - i look > forward to trying them all again when my senses have returned to normal > function... Guest guest
it's not too terrible, actually. it happens a few times a year around the start of spring through early fall. currently i'm not so bad as to want to go on the antibiotics - i've actually been doing pretty well with simple foods, teas, and homeopathics. thank you for the welll-wishing! Guest guest
HI Reni: I'd like to just give you a little tip if you're going on antbiotics: make sure you eat plenty of yogurt or better yet SOY yogurt, as antibiotics destroy the " good " bacteria in your intestines, which manufacture at least half of the RDA of vit K intake. Also take a supplement B complex, as these 2 things will help your body replenish these bacteria.
