Guest guest
Here is one of my filling and delicious casserole ideas. I ike to add different cominations of veggies or serve it with a plateful of fresh steamed or roasted veggies in season. It is also yummy with sauted cabbage. Country-Style Casserole 1 can (10.75oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted 1/4 cup mayonnaise 1/4 cup milk 1 Tbs Dijon mustard 2 cups Quorn brand tenders, or other meat substitute 1/2 of a 26 oz bag frozen shredded hash brown potatoes 1 cup shredded carrots In a large bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Stir in the tenders, hash browns and carrots. Transfer to a greased 9x9 baking pan. Cover and bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Uncover; bake additional 15 minutes or until bubbly. Yield: 4 servings ~ PT ~ The best things in life are nearest: Breath in your nostrils, light in your eyes, flowers at your feet, duties at your hand, the path of right just before you. ~Robert Louis Stevenson, novelist, essayist, and poet(1850-1894)
Guest guest
Oh this sounds wonderful, PT! That's something to think about for dinner tonight or soon. Since I don't buy milk I'll be substituting almond milk for the milk, since that's what I like to use in cooking and will be using the veganaisse for the mayo, but I know it'll turn out just as good. Thanks for this recipe, as I love casseroles! ~ PT ~ <patchouli_troll wrote: Here is one of my filling and delicious casserole ideas.
