Guest guest
This is supposedly a recipe from Colonial America. I'm not sure of its authenticity, but it's a keeper. Applejacks 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup shortening 1 egg 1 1/2 cups flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 cup chopped, unpeeled apple Cream together sugar and shortening. Add egg and beat well. Mix dry ingredients together in another bowl. Add slowly to sugar mixture, beating well after each addition. Stir in apples. Form into small balls and place on a baking sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes. ______________________________\ ____ Looking for last minute shopping deals?
