Guest guest
To give your hummus a richer - deeper flavor, add 1/4 teaspoon of toasted sesame oil to your favorite ingredients. Make your own pita chips by cutting white or whole wheat pita bread into strips and separating the pieces. Brush with olive oil. Spread on a cookie sheet and bake in a low 250 degree oven for 30 minutes. Turn over after 15 minutes so that both sides brown evenly. Crack the oven door to allow moisture to escape. If the chips are browning too quickly, reduce the heat to 200. Turn the oven off after 30 minutes, leaving the chips inside to cool and crisp. Enjoy!
