Guest guest Posted December 1, 2007 Report Share Posted December 1, 2007 DANISH CHRISTMAS CAKE 1 1/2 cup sifted flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon soda 1 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup butter or margarine 2 eggs, unbeaten 1/2 cup milk 1/2 teaspoon almond extract 1 cup oatmeal Sift dry ingredients. Cut in softened butter. Add unbeaten eggs. Add milk and almond extract. Mix well and stir in oatmeal. Pour into two 8 inch round pans. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
