Guest guest
Unfortunately, this year, as with many past, my partner has to work Thanksgiving. That used to be a given, for both of us; hospitals and nursing homes never quit. After I stopped working, I still cooked for others, but last year, as this, birds are out of my vocabulary, with the exception of buying seed and feeding them. We have decided on eggplant lasagna, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, kraut, another veggie casserole, and pumpkin pie. Our families are gone, and I may go to his,(place of employment), nursing home and help serve. Giving to others is our greatest gift, after all is said and done, and what we receive is priceless. Blessings and love, for a wonderful Thanksgiving, Jack (Texas)
Guest guest
Sorry you don't have a family here to share the Thanksgiving with, Jack. But at least you have your partner, and that is good--I have NO one here but I'll make do. Have a good one!
