Guest guest Posted October 28, 2007 Report Share Posted October 28, 2007 Home Style Cole Slaw ~~~Slaw~~~ 8 cups finely shredded cabbage 1/2 cup shredded carrot ~~~Dressing~~~ 1/3 cup reduced fat mayonnaise 1/3 cup fat free sour cream 1 TB sugar 2 tsp. cider vinegar, or to taste 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper In a large bowl, combine the dressing ingredients. Add cabbage and carrot. Gently toss to coat slaw with dressing. Cover and refrigerate for 6 to 8 hours or overnight. Yield: 7 servings. Nutrition Information: Per serving (2/3 cup) = 88 calories, 4 g fat (1 g sat fat), 5 mg cholesterol, 292 mg sodium, 12 g carbohydrate, 3 g fiber, 2 g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 2 vegetable, 1 fat.
