Apple Crisp Pizza

 

Pastry for a single crust pie

2/3 cup sugar

3 tbsps. all purpose flour

1 tsp. ground cinnamon

4 medium baking apples, pealed and sliced (1/2 inch)

 

TOPPING:

1/2 cup all purpose flour

1/3 cup packed brown sugar

1/3 cup rolled oats

1 tsp. ground cinnamon

1/4 cup butter/margarine, softened

1/4-1/2 cup caramel topping or caramel dip

 

Roll the pastry out to fit a 12 inch pizza pan; fold edges under or

flute them. Combine sugar, flour and cinnamon in a bowl; add apples and

toss to coat.

 

Arrange the apples in a single layer, in a circular pattern, to cover

the pastry. Combine the first five topping ingredients; sprinkle over

the apples.

 

Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes, until apples are tender. Remove from

oven and drizzle on caramel topping.

 

Serve warm with ice cream.
