Guest guest Posted October 16, 2007 Report Share Posted October 16, 2007 Tomato Conserve Makes 8 jars. 18 cups tomatoes, cut in chunks 3 tsp. ground ginger 6 cups sugar 3 lemons, thinly sliced Cook tomatoes 45 minutes. Add sugar, lemon and ginger. Cook until thick and smooth. P our into sterilized 8 ounce jars to within 1/2 inch of top. Put on cap, screw band firmly tight.
